The fact that pocket watches became wristwatches is thanks to the automobile, and just as cars were once built like carriages, the Japanese watch manufacturer Orient is embarking on a journey back in time with the Orient Classic Quartz Roman Gold FGW0100FW0 men's watch, when pocket watches were given wristbands but kept the design. A men's wristwatch in the proverbial good old fashion of an era when Buster Keaton, Harald Loyd and Charlie Chaplin literally hung on the hands of time in their films.

Large Roman numerals on a raised outer ring mark the hours on the white dial of the Orient Classic Quartz Roman Gold FGW0100FW0 men's watch. The inner field has a minute scale and a date field above the 6th hour. The hour and minute are indicated by Losange-shaped hands. The gold-plated stainless steel case with cylindrical crown has a narrow bezel as well as narrow receptacles for the brown, embossed leather strap with engraved buckle. In contrast to the classic look of the Orient Classic Quartz Roman Gold FGW0100FW0 men's watch, its inner workings are highly modern. With the JP600 calibre, an analogue quartz oscillates in the high-frequency range and provides a very precise time display for this stylish men's wristwatch.
